Earning Money through blogging

Blog, short for weblog, is defined as a daily journal of a blogger (a person who writes the blog) that is regularly updated for public viewing purposes. At first, when we think of blogging, one thing comes first in our minds is an “online diary” where bloggers share their personal experiences and viewpoints about topics of their interests. Now blogging comes in different sizes and different varieties such as movie reviews, sharing relevant information about particular niche such as “how to convert MS Word and Photos To PDF files, reviews and summaries historical accounts etc.

Blogging can serve as a source of income for many web users especially if they are fond of sharing their know-hows to other people. If you really want to earn through blogging, make sure that you actually love blogging and not because you decided to blog due to its money making potential.  Consider blogging as if you are just playing. Money making should be your secondary goal.  It’s like this, if you love your job, you tend to stay longer. If you love blogging, you tend stay longer in blogging. Advertising: The most preferred method of advertising is Google Adsense. However, stricter rules implemented by Adsense made difficult for bloggers to qualify for Google Adsense Publishers. So others shift to Chitika and other local advertising programs such as NuffNang (Asia Pacific).Others use Adf.ly, Adbrite and Clicksor

Sponsorships: Some bloggers are paid to write a favorable article about their company

Selling Ad Spaces: If your blog is established enough and has a decent traffic to your particular niche, then you can sell your ad spaces to companies that cater to that specific niche.
